Paramount is letting some Audrey Hepburn out of the vault on April 10, 2000. One of Hepburn's signature films, Sabrina (1954), features the gamin actress at her most charming. With rakish William Holden and dour Humphrey Bogart chasing her skirts under the direction of Billy Wilder. Not a bad combo.
Funny Face (1957) pairs Audrey with Fred Astaire in a musical directed by Stanley Donen. Maybe a  touch of Pygmalion before My Fair Lady.
Maybe not the best of Holden and Hepburn, Paris When it Sizzles (1957) fails to recapture the innocent chemistry generated by Sabrina. Too bad. Audrey in Paris is usually a sound bet.
Now the question is when does Roman Holiday (1953)  breeze out onto DVD on a purring motor scooter?
